Well I've ordered one of these...
They are limited in the sense that they are only available from the Sony Style website and it says should be shipped by beginning of June...and they may be only available for a short period of time...no idea!

You can also get them from stoneaudio.co.uk and it will set you back 204 GBP. I'm not trying to advertise them here, just to mention that it is not only available from Sony themselves...

johann1979: Have you ordered from them? I was thinking that it possibly would take even longer from stonaudio.co.uk since even SonyStyle have pushed back shipping dates...but anyway...I'm rather tempted by that...

Wow, they're giving you it to compensate for the cracked buttons? Time for me to hope mine develops a fault then

Yeah I placed my order a week ago - and I'm itching to get one man! The thing is I prefer the black one when it comes to looks and I have had the age old substance vs style argument going on in my head and I just can't decide whether I want to cancel it and get a black one and be happy with 10gb less or whether I should stick with my order. I'm using a vaio pocket until it gets released so i'm not totally out of music, so I don't mind waiting too much...

It's actually a bit of a challenge for me and I'm quite proud of myself so far - I normally can't wait for ANYTHING and often end up settling for less just because I can't wait - I'm doing alright up till now actually...

The HD5S has black buttons too - but they might be totally different to the black edition's - for one it has orange print on it - so they *are* in fact different.

I guess stoneaudio might get it a day or two after SonyStyle at the most...

people, go to a Sony store + see players in the flesh. Then buy online & save £30
