I have posted this before, but have decided to try again with the new layout in case someone reads it who might not have before.

I recently came across a General Electric Imager 15E projector through an auction site. Although I am happy with the image, I think that a new bulb would help. Does anyone out there know where I could get one? Although it was a GE product, Thomson are meant to be the distributors in Europe. I have writtem to them without any replies.

SOK,

If its ok with you I'll pass on you email onto a mate of mine who can probably get hold of a bulb for you (hopefully!)

Cheers,

Tom...

If you can get someone to buy just a bulb without the casing and install it, you can save a lot of money.

I doubt that's much consolation to the OP, 6 years later   .

It would help if you have the lamp code.

Is this PJ actually a 'LCD 15' ?
If not, I think the lamp is discontinued.

Find out the lamps model/part code and try searching for that.

Hope this helps

Cool, a time portal thread.

Can any posters from 2013 please PM me through this thread and give my the next six years national winners......oh and the next 300 Euromillions winning numbers. Cheers!

Av Nik. Not only did you fail to notice the mother of all thread resuurections but you failed to notice a mod had already pointed it out!

calibos, please don't come in here and take the ****. Such actions can get you banned and just prove you have a mental problem.
For your information, I added to the thread to help the future visitors.

Sorry mod. just had to say my peice. Please remove all the foolish posts.

Gimme a break Nik!! I?? have a mental problem because I jokingly pointed out that you didn't notice this was a six year old thread even after a mod pointed it out??

Now I am hardly going to throw accusations of mental health problems back at you but one does wonder how you can claim you were posting information for future visitors.

It would help if you have the lamp code.

Is this PJ actually a 'LCD 15' ? (You refer to the OP's PJ)
If not, I think the lamp is discontinued. (You are telling the OP that his 6 year old PJ lamp is discontinued but didn't realise the actual post was 6 years old too)

Find out the lamps model/part code and try searching for that.

The above post was patently aimed at the OP(from 6 years ago) and not at future visitors. You didn't notice the thread was ancient but for some strange reason you can't admit that you made a mistake and take the friendly ribbing about said mistake with good grace. ie. "Oops, silly me. Too tired to notice after a had day at the office  "

Intead you claim you knew all along and call me mental for pointing it out!!

Don't think I'll ever be doing business with someone who won't admit mistakes and resorts to calling other people mental when they point them out

Forgive my abrupt reply to your post but you did direct your 'Joke' at me:
Quote: "Av Nik. Not only did you fail to notice the mother of all thread resuurections but you failed to notice a mod had already pointed it out!"

Maybe you should have mentioned you was Joking?

Maybe you don't need such advice but I'm sure others would appreciate it. I received the notice this thread had been updated (by antonw on 15/12/2006) so I replied to that. (not to the 6 year old thread) Adding my post merely refreshes the thread and allows others to read that thread. The advice is to show people that searching for the model number or part code often yeilds better results.

As heard so many times before:
For every action, there is a reaction.

Foolish/tongue in cheek posts are one thing but personal insults are another thread closed so it can rest in peace.
