Assault On Precint 13 (2005) R1

got this during the week from cd-wow for a decent price. came in a slip case which i didnt know was available. watchted it tonight on the projector

Picture i though was very nice and clean. with upscaling to 720p i know when its a good transfer as the image is spot on and it is for this.

Sound: one word for that DTS soundtrack is WOW. one second your listening to dialouge at a perfect level next a bus explodes and litterally one and scrambled to the amp remote b4 it was to late some nice effects to the soundtrack

movie: i didnt see this at the cinema and heard from people it wasnt up to much. i for one enjoyed the film. was the kind of film im in the mood for on a sat night loads of action no thinking the pace to the film felt right as well. nice to see morpheus popping up somewhere else if your into a no brainer good action film i reccomend this.

nice to hear what you lot have to say

I enjoyed this at the cinema. It doesn't claim to reinvent the wheel, but it delivers a ton of fine action, some great characters and fantastic sound (the gunfights rival "Tears of the Sun" for swift, multi-channel, crossfire mayhem).

Any film which manages to make Ethan Hawke even half-way bearable is fine in my book...

I'll be getting this DVD myself just to check out the DTS sound (the neighbours are on holiday, helpfully...

I just got around to watching this just last night.

I thoroughly enjoyed it

A few major holes in the plot but probably one of the best action films I've seen this year.

Leave year brain at home and sit back and enjoy!

I was thinking picking this up after seeing it on cd-wow but wasn't sure on the reviews. May pick this up as brainless Sat night fodder!

It's not a masterpiece - but it is fun. Worth picking up IMO.

Dvdsoon have it on R1 for £8.50, less if you have the icard (be quick though, as they keep changing prices).
