Panny Pw5

Hi if i get a scaler for my PW5 it will connect via component wont it?
So i should be able to connect the new Hd items to it right?
which means i wouldnt have to buy a new tv correct?
Would this be the best way to go about things?

Depending on what you are trying to put in to it ... the skyHD service is unlikely to pass all HD material over the component outputs ... that material which is already copy-protect flagged will AFAIK only be passed as HD through a hdcp-compliant hdmi or dvi output ... if it doesn't get the proper hdcp 'handshake' it will (i guess) pass a downsampled SD picture instead ...
