i jest not

after several years of crap broadband service by wireless network supplier - bt has finally upgraded our exchange and broadband is now available

now i live in a medium sized village and am less than 1/2 mile from the exchange

i completed the online application for the 2mb package only to be told that i was too far from the exchange and could only get 1mb (still paying 2mb price however  )

i then actually rang bt and they said the same thing - yesterday the bt engineer called to make some line mods in the street to enable my connection and he was a bit confused as to what i had been told and said i should get 2mb

other friends in the village get 2mb - so whats the problem????????

I have had exact same problem from bt,and do you know how i know they are fobbing me off ?.My nextdoor neighbour designs and builds the junction boxes for bt[broadband].A quick threat of changing broadband provider should help you out.
