MPeg4 to MP3

I loaded iTunes onto my laptop as a music manager and then decided to buy an HD3 rather than an iPod. Is there any way to convert the iTunes MPeg4 back to MP3 or ATRAC? All my tracks on my laptop are now MPeg4.

iTunes Preferences, Importing tab, choose MP3 Encoder from the Import Using drop-down menu. Click OK.

Then select all tracks in the Library, and choose Convert Selection to MP3 from the Advanced menu. You'll end up with two copies of each track, one in AAC, one in MP3. Just trash the AAC ones.

yeh, the best way for me at least is to use winamp, get a plugin called mp3 writer, play the files you want changing and winamp will creat mp3s for you. there are a lot of other ways to do this but i use winamp all the time so its really simple. if you havent got winamp i would suggest getting it anyway, its a great media player.

if you dont wanna install it though just have a google for mpeg4 to mp3 converters of mp3 writers im sure it wont be too hard to find a program that does it.
