Hi,

I am waiting the arrival of my Denon 500.
Obviously I want to test it as soon as possible :)

What cables come with the Denon 500?
I want to connect it to my CRT Panasonic TV.
I believe I will need to bye a scart cable? Is it all?

Another issue:
How do I know if the Denon 500 is multiregion (I do not have DVDs besides zone 2 to check it). If not how to upgrade it? Is it just software?

One last question: Has anyone try to listen a DVD audio at the D500? I think it is not supported?

Kind regards and thanks for your help

It comes with a single composite video cable, I think the idea is to allow you to use it to set up the denon if you are intending to use component cables to connect to your tv, since the default setting is a for a scart connection which you are correct in assuming is not supplied

Multi region versions are usual advertised as such so if it wasn't mentioned then it is probably zone 2 as is mine, you will need a software patch to upgrade, a link has been posted elsewhere on this site

It's a great system, you won't be disappointed :) :smashin:
