DVD 2910 Set up

I'm on to playing around with the finer details of the setup and I'm looking at the picture adjustment modes. Has anyone player around with these and what results have you got? Also, on the HDMI modes do you find you get better results with component or RGB? Is there anything else that I should be adjusting? (as you can tell I've never had a DVD player before with anything more than a play and pause button )
