problem with d-link on 3910 -> 3805

I cant seem to get my dvd player to talk to the amp when playing SACD's

The link works fine for stereo, DD and DTS but when I play a SACD no sound.

can get surround sound accross from an SACD if I plug in the analogue leads but I don't really want to do that

any ideas please

The Dlink is not yet approved by Sony to pass the SACD signal. The Dlink can handle all signals including the DVD Audio but not the SACD.

umph, ah well.

If it does get approval is it likely to be available as a firmware update?

Won't you get better sound through the RCAs anyway? & no need to use the DLINK for SACD??

Yep

Mine sounds better using the DACs from the 3910 I even use them For DVD Video and Audio The only thing I switch the denon link on for is to watch 7.1/6.1 discs. For CD the Stereo output seems even better although that could be because I have better interconnects on the stereo ones.
