Awaiting my p4 3.0 gig HT PC with MCE 2005, wanting to upgrade to the best possible video card within 150 quid budget, checked on ebay, say a few nice 9800 nad 6800's, some are made by smaller companies - peak?? anyone know if these perform as good as the real mccoy, fan sound isnt an issue as going to run bluetooth from the unit which will be far away.

Nvidia 6600GTs provide the best value/performance at the moment IMO & within budget.

You could also consider a 6800LE & hope you can unlock all the pipes & get a good overclock. Bit more expensive though & a gamble.

I've read this http://www.doomedpc.com/drupal-4.5.2/?q=/node/9 which explains the overclocking, this artic cooler, are they expense and hard to fit?? otherwise ill go for the 6600gt, does it matter if its not the nvidia ie the sparkle ver.!??
