Sevice menu definitions

I recently accessed the service menu on my Thomson TV to make some minor adjustments to the geometory setup. While I was doing this I noticed a load of other options and adjustments whose names were meaningless to me. Can anyone enlighten me as to what they do?

Here they are...

Setup:
STD - BLI, B, BDLI, BD, I
Invar - On or Off
S Bright - (variable slider)
S Colour - (variable slider)
T Contr - (variable slider)
Text Lang - 1, 2, 3, 4
Tube Type - 16/9, 4/3
WWS - On or Off
Dec PR04 - On or Off

Geom:
Volt
H VCO
V Pos
V Amp
V Lin
H Pos
H Amp
Trap
EW1
EW2

R Cut
G Cut
R Drv
G Drv
B Drv

Some are fairly obvious but if anyone can help with the less obvious ones I would be very grateful.

How did you find out how to access the Service Menu? I am trying to find out how to do it on my Panasonic TX-29AK1 but with no luck?
