hdmi socket on tosh 46wm48?????

q1: On toshibas web site the diagram on the connections link for the 46wm48 tv show a 15 pin
d sub type connection ie like a pc analogue input but its labelled hdmi can any one who owns one confirm if its a proper hdmi connector or not.

q2: I want to connect a pc to this tv (going to buy one soonish) via a lindy 3m dvi-d cable will a dvi to hdmi adaptor work ok or do i need to buy a new cable with dvi on end and hdmi the other.

yes its a proper hdmi socket
