Blackout Material Creased

is there a way to iron little creases out with like a tea towel over the material. as well as ironing from the back and not the white front side.

For small creases I would have thought the stretching over the frame would have dealt with them.

I know many people have used BM for their screen, they are probably better placed to answer this one.

Good luck!

(Has the TX arrived yet?)

I wouldn't recommend ironing BO material usually it has been treated with an acrylic coating that wont enjoy high temperature if you do then use a cool iron over a damp tea towel as you mention.

As PJ mentions, any light creases will pull out nicely once you have it fixed over the frame, just make sure you work from one side then over to the opposite then back again etc pulling the material taught.

For heavier creases I'd probably bin it or take it back to the shop (alternatively use it for whats its made for in the first place, blacking out windows ) and get some more, ask them to roll the facric and not fold it!

Most creases should come out when you stretch it over the frame, for those that don't you could try warming the BO cloth with a hair dryer.

ta for all help guys i gave it a quick once over with the iron over a tea towel ! when i say i im lying, me a male iron jeez my nan ironed over and did a stearling job. we then stretched it over the frame tought and it has no creases and is flat as my ex girl friends chest. when i say "we" i stood and watched and helped hold the fabric while my uncle did it. now waiting on flok tape from nexnix and im sorted for some quality movies.
