HELP!!! hack needed for cyber home ad-m512

Hi there just bought a cyber home ad-m512 dvd player I can get into the secret setup mend (7,6 then sel) but I acn't seem to change the r code. Can anyone please tell me how to make my machine multi region!

I read somewhere that I have to download new firmware then burn it onto a cd and upgrade it that way is this true?

Is it the 212 or 512? If it is the 212, then the following will apply:

Got this from the totaldvd.net website:

<br /> <br />Cyber Home AD-M 212 handset region code hack<br />With your remote control:

Open the drive.<br />Press 7 then 6 then SEL.<br />Choose the region as required. Choosing 13 sets the player region free.<br />Close the drive.

You need to upgrade the firmware - I am using 9.8

Either buy the CD from Richer $ounds for £20

OR

download the firmware and follow the installation instructions like I did. Version 9.8 gives you multiregion and (temporary) macrovision off.
