Tosh sd100e and R1

I recently bought the Tosh sd100e I noticed that when playing R1 vampires the bit rate was less than with r2 Austin Powers and Friends. Is this the disc or the player?

If anyone can help I will be very grateful, thanks.

Why do you want to look at a bit rate meter ?

Each disc and every second on that disc has a certain bit rate depending on action, movement, brightness etc on the screen at any one time. No two discs will ever thave the same bit rate unless you have two discs of the same film that is.
