Sony 725 dvd player problem

When i put the sony 725 into standby a high pitched tone comes from my television. Is there anyway of getting rid of this tone, it only happens when the player is in standby and the tv is on the dvd input. I am using a 29" 4:3 sony tv and the dvd player is connected via scart. Please help!!!

I have the 725 and have not come across this noise, perhaps a diferent lead will help, can you borrow one?.

I have a Sony 29" 4:3 tv and 725 also

I use s video setup.No problem here
