SVHS VCRs
Anybody care to recommend any of the current few remaining SVHS VCRs? It is possible to pick up a JVC 5975 for about £110. Any good? I don't really need bells and whistles on this one, as I use a JVC DVS3 as my main edit VCR. I just need something that can play back SVHS tapes without too many glitches. Seems to be just JVC and Panasonic doing them unless anyone knows different.

Check out Argos. My local branch has a S-VHS JVC for £70.

I'll go and get their new catalogue then. Prices do seem to be falling dramatically now everyone is after DVDs instead.

In the new catalogue it's £99.99. On display it was £69.99.

Argos have the JVC 5975 and Comet have the 5967. Anyone know what the difference is? The published specs seem identical.
