How many have bought the Toshiba 46 from gultronics?

I ask because empire have put their price up by £50 making the set come in over 1600 with delivery, whereas gultronics do it for less than 1500 with delivery, I have read alot on here of people getting price matches from gultronics, why havent they just ordered through them to start with? Are they a descent company or not.

Do empire or any others price match?

With living in the north east i cant try and get comet to price match the gultronics price as my local comet is no where near the gultronics store and i beleive there is a 10mile rule.

Not sure where to order from

I bought mine from Gultronics and going through a painful replacement procedure as mine seems to be faulty (2 problems toshiba confirmed faulty, 3rd is HDMI problem which I posted separately and not sure yet if it is tv or pc)

Their service is not as good as curry or comet but worth the saving i guess.

Two years ago I bought one of those dodgy Toshiba 36" picture frame tellies off them, with all the known problems that tv had, it still took a threatning letter to get a refund. Will never use them again!

Best,
John

They asked me to contact Toshiba to get a reference number. So I did.
I sent them a mail with details and the reference number.
They said they will look into it and call me on next Monday.

I will tell you how it goes. However, so far, I am not impressed with their attitude towards customer.

Same here with unbeatable. Ordered earlier this week was given contact number for their supplier which i called and was told item was in stock if unbeatable called them. However received email from them today saying suplier was out of stock and will be about 10 - 14 working days.

Looks to me like pretty much everywhere are waiting for the next batch to come into stock!!

Looks like their are a few of us out there waiting for tosh 46"ers

Mind I don't think that I was supposed to have been given the number. The guy I spoke to was confused as to why I was given the number. think he must of been trade sales or summit.

Suppose it gives me more time to get money together to buy Panny S97 and wait fo the other guys to solve the equation of the best angle to watch the tosh at!!
