Has anybody bought or seen the new iSCAN PRO? Its an improved version of the iSCAN + V2 .It uses a superior de-interlacing chip Sil503 as used in the Vigatec and can therefore handle PAL as well as NTSC. Price seems to be around $800. Is this the Processor we have been waiting for?

The DVDO iScan Pro is an excellent de-interlacer, their 503 chip is head and shoulders above most de-interlacing solutions in the market place. However, it is not a scaler and does not deal with a multitude of device inputs and high frequency PC VGA, but these may not be important to you.

At its price range there appears to be nothing to match it.
