best sub £500 5.1 speaker package recommendations please!

ok i badly need some surround sounds but as i already have a decent panasonic dvd player to go with the viera i dont want to buy a in a box system as then id have 2 dvd players lol.

what im after (i think) is a decent 5.1 set up with an active sub that runs the satellites as i dont really have the room under the screen to squeeze in a reciever / amp.

so what should i be looking at please??

Try the Aego5 from Acoustic Energy icosts £299 from Superfi.....great sound for the size.

There is a new version called Aego5 II just released but it costs £499 and I don't think you get a great deal more for teh £200 extra.

I have it coupled with a Samsung HD945 and its sounds tremendous.
