I was just wondering whether anyone knew if the new Resident Evil Boxset contained the Deluxe Edition release of Resident Evil or whether it was the original release?

This Resident Evil Boxset contains 3 Discs total including an RE: Collector's Boxset. This contains the Special Edition of Resident Evil. Therefore, this in NOT the regular release...its the deluxe 2 Disc Version. Now, with the RE: Apocalypse, there's just one disc.

Axel Music now have the Boxset instock and judging by the picture of the back cover on their site, it is the standard release of Resident Evil along with the 2 Disc Edition of Resident Evil: Apocalypse so I think I will give it a miss.
