JVC TH-S3 Noisey Fan

I have a JVC TH-S3 DVD Player / Home Cinema All in one system. When I turn the volume up above '30', there is a fan that kicks in within the machine. The fan can be heard, especially during audio breaks in the programme. This means that the volume has to be turned up even further to counteract it. This is just an annoyance, but I was wondering whether anyone else has the same issue, and whether there is a resolution. I know the fan is there for a reason, but the manufacturers always build in a safety margin. Ideally I would like to re-program the fan only to kick in at 40.

Apologies if you have not noticed this before, and it now turns into one of those things that get on your nerves. The guy who posted the issue of the speaker hiss on the same system did this to me!!
