sony RM-AV3100 worth it

hi all,
Im new to the universal remotes so I was wondering if its worth paying the money for the sony RM-AV3100 to control my system or is there a better option? I like the look of this remote and would like it to run my Teac Plasma, pioneer DVD player, Teac setop box and sony amp. I am building a house soon with a cinema room so it will need to run a projector and lighting if possible. is there a hotline to help set this remote up if i have any problems
