DVD-Writer -- Compatible with DVDinfo Software

Hi

Various members have linked to the LG GSA4160BA writer from DABS.

Problem/Question:
Using DVDinfoPro software to check the quality of dvd-r discs that I have dubbed using a Panasonic E85, produces messages that my existing Plextor DVD-rom is not suitable for Jitter, PI/PIF tests and is unable to read MID codes.
Is the LG GSA4160BA O.K. for these operations?

TIA
Baj

Hi
Please does anybody have the answer?

(I'm a newbie; if replying to myself, so as to bring my posting to the top of the forum, is not acceptable behaviour, please tell me. My apologies if I have erred.)

TIA
Baj
