Pioneer DV470 PAL60hz Playback?

Before I bought my player I was told by several online retailers that the Pioneer DV470 could output an NTSC DVD to PAL60hz but I cant find anything in the manual about a PAL60hz setting.
On my old Samsung 709 there was a PAL setting and a Quasi-PAL setting which was the PAL60hz setting but on the Pioneer there is only PAL, NTSC and AUTO.
I tried setting the player to PAL and when I played back an NTSC DVD it seemed to stutter slightly so assumed the player must be converting it to PAL50hz as the PAL60hz on my Samsung gave smooth playback but if that isnt it, how do I get it to output a PAL60hz signal?
