Pioneer DV-470/575 - Multisession disks?

Hi

Can anybody confirm whether either of the above players are actually able to play divx/jpeg/mp3 files that have been recorded on a multisession. I have loads of disks that like that play happily on the Yamada 6100. According to the Pioneer site's online user manuals the Pioneer models shouldn't be able to play them.

But there again often the makers claim that something can't play something when in fact it can.

By the way anybody bought the Philips DVP762 (off Amazon) yet?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure about multisession disks but it reads a DVD-RW I have perfectly. I just burn what I want onto the disc, watch it, wipe it and then burn something else.
