Cheaper to buy Pronto in the USA??

Hi.

I am looking to buy a decent single remote to replace the cluster I have at present.

The Pronto and I Pronto look to be good models. As I am off to the states (Florida) in a month, and the exchange rate is good, would it be cheaper to buy out there??

If so, can anybody give any advice or offer some links please??

Thanks, Gerald.

Yes, saving around 40% on the UK prices. Not sure where to buy over the counter, but mail order here www.bluedo.com This will give you some guide to the prices.

As fas as I know just one.

You will not be able to operate X10 appliances. USA operate at 418 Mhz and Europe on 433 Mhz.
You can use the RF function they will then both work on 418 Mhz.

Hi

Are you saying you can control X10 devices directly from a Pronto's RF without a IR to X10 converter?

If so how?

Thanks

Barry

Hi

Yes, how does that work. I have a remote controlled lighting dimmer, but it's a Home Store device, as opposed to Lutron etc.

Cheers, Gerald.
