Wall Mounting LCD Above Fireplace??

We are new to LCD TVs, and we are thinking of installing a 32" screen above an open fireplace (hole-in-the-wall type). Does anybody have any advice on this? What is the maximum ambient temperature that a screen should work in and will high (but within spec) temperatures affect reliability / product life?

Also we want to chase the cables into the wall to make a neat job, and it will be a lot easier if we choose a set with a separate tuner box. These do not seem very common, we have come across the Sharp LC-32GD1E, what else is available.

Many thanks for any help.

I am just about to mount my LC above the fireplace. I was very worried about temperatures, but having measured the temp above the mantle it is actually only 1C warmer than the ambient temperature of the room. Which isnt what i was expecting.
