i do believe that those two extra's are the H and V (horizontal and Vertical) sync. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It is RGBHV. I used to have a couple of old Sony CRT PJ's which I ran via Scart and Keene Syncblaster cables from both DVD and Sky sources and I was very chuffed at the picture at the time.

Go to the FAQ page at www.crtprojectors.co.uk - Its a bit like 'early Sony CRT 101' and will answer a lot of your questions. Henry and James are helpful blokes too!

The syncblaster isn't cheap but linked to the wonderful £10 RGB Scart switcher from Argos handled all my switching with no fuss. Keene sell them via a dedicated website.

There are other options too. You can use the VGA (15 pin computer monitor port) for scalers & HTPC. This'll give you a better picture but may give you audio delay problems.
