Which option dvd or scaler?

Hi

I am moving my plasma and pj into one room. 43MXE-1, replacing my Z1 with either a Z3 or possibly a HS50.

I have a DV88P and 575.

Should I get a 3910 and run HDMI to PJ and DVI to Plasma or should I get a scaler (Lumagen Pro?) and have one of the DVD players SDI modded?

Any other suggestions on equipment?

Any recommendations on how to connect up to get the best out of both displays - am in the process of running cables. Plan is to have the plasma on a wall bracket, pj electric screen drop down in front of plasma, pj ceiling mounted using a gyroloc.

I have about 400 Region 1 DVD's but rent Region 2 on a weekly basis, I intend to continue buying Region 1 however.

I may want in future to pipe is digital satellite and games consoles but this is a very low priority.

Missed the Scottish HiFi show due to work - bummer, had hoped to see Lumagen and Joe Fernands room.

Gus
