Thumbs up DVD burning using studio 9 question.

Hi Im not sure if I'm in the right section here but hopefully I am.
I have pinicle studio 9 and I want to burn a copy of a video I have edited and send it to someone in the USA (I'm in Australia). Will they be able to play it on their dvd player there? There doesnt seem to be any alternative settings for the different reigons in the settings section of studio 9.
any help greatly apreciated or if you could steer me to the right forum that would be helpful too.cheers

You can't set regions burning DVD-R so that won't be a problem.

What may be a problem however is sending them a PAL disc. PAL countries tend to have players/TV's that can handle either playing NTSC or convert it to PAL60 in the main. Although the situation has improved somewhat in the USA, not all of their DVD player's & TV's can play PAL discs. If by chance their's can then of course that won't be a problem either.
