Anyone had any experience running a PC into a DLP set using the DVI input. I would like to use a HTPC running a Nebula TV card and Theatertek dvd software player.

What sets would deliver 1:1 pixel matching or would I require addtional software like powerstrip.

How would the picture compare with a plasma.

Thanks

Powerstrip you need to customize resolutions if you can't hack the drivers manually.

Molly, also very interested in that, from what I know the Sagem HD50 provides perfect 1:1 mapping on DVI with a PC.

The Toshibas on the other hand have problems with PC over HDMI (at least the US versions)

Don't know for the others

By the way, do you have experience with Plasmas on this aspect ?

From what I can gather, most of them do not give good results, one of the main reason being that their pixels are not square !!! (don't really understand why by the way ...)

I was looking for a plasma for the living room but I find the PQ of a DLP Tv superior. The Tv will go on a stand in the corner so I don't need a "hang on the wall" look.

The main use will be with a Nebula Tv card and Theatertek for dvd. I currently run the above on a Relisys 17" LCD in the kitchen with a good to average PQ depending on the freeview channel.

I have no experince of tweaking to ensure the best PQ but my current LCD excepts the standard resolution from my graphics card.

I would appreciate PQ feedback for a nebula HTPC to DLP TV system.

Any news on the usability of the Toshiba with a PC on the HDMI input ?
