Hi Petarst,

I had an AX5i hooked up to some MA S6's AV Package for a while and they sounded very good so the AX5 & 3 are very similar so i would think that it wouldn't be too different in quality of sound, is it possible to have a dem just to be sure!

Hi recruit,

thx for reply.
I will go with 5i because i sow it is one of the best home theater.
Price is a little bit high ,but i think it is worth.

IMO i think the 5i is worth the extra money over 3 as the ilink is a worthy feature and gives the sound the edge over the AX3!

Hi,

I don't think that difference between AX5i and AX3i is the only i link?
There is also 2 kg difference in weight, and it can't be ilink only?
Am i right?
Anything other?

Component Video switching and a superior remote are also on the spec list over the AX3 as well. The AX3 is a fine amp but a bit sparse on the feature count.

Both the Denon & Yamaha will be on the warmer sounding side than the Pioneer the 3805 is very good as a midrange amp and so is the 2500(Don't know if the Yam is Out yet though), Would it be possible to get some demos of the amps as i think it would be best so you can compare!!

I would say that the Nad is probably better in stereo but the Yamaha will be superior for Home Cinema, saying that though i would not say that Yamaha av amps are "very bad" for stereo useage! I suppose it's horses for courses
