Anyone know where I can find one of these in stock for around the £1200 mark? A few well known web stores have them advertised at that price, but none with stock.
They're are in stock at the high street stores, but £300 more expensive!
Thanks all,
Ed.
Hello Ed,
Try www.tvandvideodirect.com £1244.00 plus delivery, it might be cheaper to get www.parcel2go.com to pick it up and deliver it for you. If you are not local they can be a bit expensive on the delivery chargers, apart from that, they are a good company to buy from.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Owey, but out of luck there too. The only stores with these in stock are those that charge £300 more than anyone else, hence probably old(er) stock.

Cheers Eglons,
I tried them earlier today and they have the TV in stock, but with no stand. As the unit should be sold with stand supplied (and the fact that I need one) I found this a little odd.
Seems all suppliers have the 'absent stand' prob.

I was seriously thinking about one of these but was put off due to the time to switch on and the bulb life if it's on and off a lot (kids don't use remotes), you don't happen to have any reviews which give these details do you. I turned one off via the remote in Curry's today and it took a full 30 seconds for a picture to reappear when I hit the remote again, sounds trivial but I do a lot of 5 minute TV watching !
