Which remote controlled lights should I go for?

I want to control a main ceiling light which is switched by the wall switch as well as sunken ceiling lights and a pair of wall lights via one remote control, although this would need to be done via RF to control the wall and sunken lights.
I've seen an IR wall switch and 4 switch remote control, but as I want to control 2 other sets of lights which could not be controlled by IR (unless there is a 3-way IR wall switch). Does anyone know of anything that would do the job???

Hi, check out the rako range, as these all work on RF and very easily installed and adapted

I would look at X10 where you can use RF or an an IR converter

Try looking at Home Easy

These are available from B&Q so if anything goes wrong you can replace them very easily. They are also retro fit so no additional wiring or week long instalation, you could install this within a few hours.

They also have a website just search home easy in google.

I'd second the rako recommendation. I've had a basic X10 solution and now a rako one - the latter is far superior. easy retro fit with minimal time/experience needed to do the job. not the cheapest way but very professional and very reliable.

I've just bought the basic kit from B&Q and it works really well.

I will be adding the dimmers next and some more sockets.

The basic pack with 3 sockets and 1 remote is only £20 too
