How to execute windows program when door opens

How to execute windows program when door opens

Hi, I need to activate a flash presentation on a computer with windows XP, when a door opens, so when some one enters a room the presentation starts playing, what do I need and how can I do this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You need one of those pointer style remotes that plugs into the PC's USB port so that you can wire the switch on the handset to a door switch like they use on house alarms.
Alternatively you could stip an old keyboard and bodge up the "F5" key to the door switch :D

Now my 42"PA20 Plasma TV is up for grabs as I've just received my 42" VIERA
