RGBHV Belden 7712A Broadcast quality cables

RGBHV Belden 7712A Broadcast quality cables manufactured using Belden 7712A VideoFlex® Snake Cable for Precision Analogue and Digital Video.

Belden 7712A, a superb quality five core cable containing coloured cores of Belden's famous 1694A video coax, the best of the new breed of high-bandwidth precision video cables.

Extremely low in capacitance, sweep-tested to 3 GHz, and shielded with a dense tinned copper braid and with Belden's "Duofoil" two-layered foil for maximum isolation from outside noise and interference.

Engineered for critical video applications, its exceptional bandwidth and low-loss characteristics make it perfect for use in carrying RGBHV video signals over long distances.

Termination is with Canare impedance matched BNC connectors.

These are superb quality crimped connectors.

The five cores in the 7712A are tightly twisted to provide superior noise rejection, compared to five loose cores.

The cores of the 7712A are all the same length (very important).

Long RGBHV cables using five separate cables are very hard to produce, trying to keep the cores all the same length.

All cables are hand made to the highest possible standards using Canare specialist tooling for the cable stripping and connector crimping.
The crimp tool has been calibrated to provide a crimp connection that is exactly to Canare specifications.

Caig products are used to clean and treat the core of the coax and crimp pin during the assembly process. Nothing left to chance, perfection every time.

One warning, the cable is 26mm in diameter, this is a HUGE cable !

Got the cable today Mark, Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen anything like it It looks like it should be attatched to the national grid! The build quality is out of this world and all for the sort of money that a lot of companies charge or a half decent pair of interconnects Thanks very much mate, Im sure it will more than do my Barco justice

Hello Lee,

VGA to BNC will soon be available with a much smaller Belden cable. (a new type of Belden minature hi-res HDTV cable)

I have the cable, still waiting for suitable BNC's for the cable, will be maybe two weeks yet.

( VGA to 3 phono for component is possible now, but not 5 phono or BNC just yet)

Thanks,

Mark.

Thanks for getting back to me Mark.

I'll PM you as i think this will be a custom cable, as the pinout will be to Barco specs. (And it's a Female 9pin D-Sub to x5 BNC's, not HD15 as stated)

Cheers
