TLC dimmers overheating

My TLC dimmers have always run quite warm, even when they are switched off. However, I took one of the wall today whilst preparing to decorate my HT room, and I noticed the plastic housing around the dimmer module itself has got so hot it has turned brown in places. Sure enough, with the lights off the housing is too hot to touch. It's only powering one 100Watt lamp, so it's not been overloaded.

I'm not too keen to carry on using them after seeing this. Has anyone else noticed the same problem?

Ive had similar problems, and i believe this is what made mine fail (all 3 of them), ive since returned to a standard dimmer.
