Do MovieTyme tell you when an order is shipped?
On Sunday, I made my first order with MovieTyme.
I got an immediate reciept, but nothing since.. Do they tell you when they have shipped an item.
Its not like i can check 'on-line' like play as they don't seem to have this facility.

No.
If you email them to cancel your order they still send you the DISC

But I don't want to cancel my order..
I just want to get 'Men Of Honour' as soon as possible, as I have been waiting for it to come into the cinema for months.. And now its hear before the UK cinema release.
Is it safe to assume that, even though I havn't heard anything, the disk should have been dispatched?

Don't bother with them, thay are completely unprofessional . Go to play247.com or future, they will treat you like a valid customer and not like a something they just stepped in!

Jon, told you they were a mixed bag!
They were faultless with my Rock order, with delivery after just 3 days. But there do seem quite a few disgruntled customers and I think I'll be sticking with Play as much as poss in the future. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

I always use Play for my DVDs.. Its just that Movietyme offered 'Men Of Honour' for the same price as play and out 3 weeks earlier than Play (and 2 weeks earlier than the UK cinema).
Its a test I guess.. I will see how Movietyme go.. I have nothing to loose.. I would be able to get this from Play until April 10th anything.

As I said in the play thread below. MOVIETYME are all very good for saying a disc is in stock, but from my experience at the moment and from people over at THEDVDFORUMS it would seem that by the time you have waited for a disc from MOVIETYME you may be just as well off getting it from PLAY

Jon Weaver
Just check your bank statement.
I will still order from MovieTyme, in the future.
Right now most of the DVD retailers are slow, apart from an Aussie site.
Amazon.com are very slow.

Credit where credit is due.
Ordered 'Men Of Honour' on Sunday.. Got it yesterday!
Same price as Play too. And its two weeks earlier than the cinema!
Can't fault them for that.. I am sure that they have issues.. But I can't fault their service!
