Daylight: which version?

I was looking on DVDSOON and noticed that the Stallone movie Daylight is available for $6.98, or about £3.10, however it's available in two versions; a DTS edition which doesn't appear to have any extras, or a DD5.1 "collector's edition" which has behind the scenes footage, trailers, a music video etc.

I'm sure i remember a thread on here a few months ago about one of these versions being really great, but i can't locate the thread, so can someone let me know if the DTS version is so much better that it's worth going for it even withut extras?

I think the Region 1 DTS edition of Daylight is a Full bit rate version, and pretty awsome sounding.
It was on of universals first DTS discs like Dragonheart, and they were all full bit rate then.

Get the DTS Region 1.

...on the other hand, the DD 5.1 track is quite excellent, the audio commentary is very entertaining, & the making of (which was made back when Universal gave a rats about extras) lasts about an hour & is fairly in-depth.

I could live without the music video though

I guess it all depends on how much you prefer DTS to extras.

Hell, at £3.10 each, why not buy both?

I've got both and I'd go for the DD 5.1 version because the sound isn't that much different and you've got some good extras too.
