Got it a week ago.

Good transfer, good sound, good extras but......

average film.

I've got no way of proving this absolutely, but my usual (possibly not reliable) "test" for RCE discs indicates\that this one IS.

Well, I'v just watched 'Final Fantasy' and I have to agree with ONO - gorgeous visuals, superb sound but I'll be damned if I knew what the hell was going on - definatley a case of repeated viewing!

Final Fantasy plopped through the letterbox a couple of minutes ago whilst I was online - I plan to watch tonight but having just had a quick glance at it can only say one thing - Jeez, this is one SWEEET looking film! :)

Final Fantasy? That was one helluva hollow movie, glad I didn't pay to see it.

For a cinema movie featuring animated human-looking characters I found it rather impressive when I watched it at the cinema, not perfect maybe but damnd close - IMHO.

Guess the story did not go too well with western audiences, but sound and pic are awesome.

I thought some of the animation is a bit poor, especially the faces. Everyone in the movie looks constipated or something.

Well, I must say that I enjoyed this film a great deal, and its gonna be one of those that I watch many times. For me, the animation is just superb, and being into computer graphics in a big way, I can appreciate the amount of work that has gone into creating this groundbreaking masterpiece. The sound is pretty awesome in places too, but some of the scenes in the film, many of which non-graphically aware dudes would gloss over, were just jaw dropping for me. I suppose I can appreciate this film on many levels, and tho the story may not be to everyones taste, it was the perfect vehicle for this movie.
For people into computer graphics, its a 10/10 movie !
