Did anyone else think this film was well below par for a major, major relaese?
Did anyone preview it at all before releasing it to such hype?
I mean where was all the action, plot, cool dialogue and general keep you interested type of stuff. Even for a no-brainer it was a bit light on all of the above.
Any other opinions?
By the way I have the R1 version and I don't know if I can be bothered to watch/listen to Mr Woo enthuse about T.C. even though I think he could cut it as an action icon.

For me, the best bit of MI2 is when you press the eject button. http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

I'm very glad I borrowed it from a mate in didn't waste good money on it myself.

I admit to liking this film. The soundtrack is excellent, the plot (a bit) predictable, but like the man said, a popcorn movie. The extras are fairly good and I was impressed by the stunt work performed by Cruise himself - fair play to the man http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

I think from what I have heard about it I will NEVER watch it. And to think Tom Cruise showed us how good an actor he actually can be in Magnolia - guaranteed Oscar there. And he was pretty good in Rain Man too. Things people will do for money.

I'm the first person to give a dodgy film a chance - hey, I even enjoyed Battlefield Earth! But MI:Poo was unforgivable. Glad I never bought it. Mr Woo embarassed himself with this one. I don't remember much about the first film, but I think that a spin-off based on Jean Reno's character would have been better. I just think Reno makes for a better agent than Tom Cruise.

Only an opinion of course, but I thought MI2 made Cinderella look like an Eastenders episode...(think about it....) http://www.wvip.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
