Anybody else out there had problems with the 2-Disc Special Edition of The Day After Tomorrow?

Using a Denon DVD-2900 I just get a "No Play" message in the display. Disk works fine on a Toshiba deck and my PC, but a 17" monitor just isn't the same is it ;)

TIA

Plays fine on my Denon 2910 (though can't get disc 1 of Fahrenheit 911 to play).

Laura,

Is your 2910 Multi-regioned?

Denon are suggesting I reset my 2900 to region 2 only, but can't guarantee it will work even then, useful :(

RCE on a fox disk? I thought only Columbia Tristar used it?

Yeah my 2910 is multiregion... to be honest i'm a little reluctant to reset it to Region 2 only just for 1 disc..

Looks like there might be hope for me yet then :)

Russell, is your player multi-regioned, what firmware revision are you running?

I've never heard of RCE on a R2 disc before. Are there any others?
