saw this over on another site and found it rather interesting
think the only one I have with a number is MANHUNTER which is 41054/100000 so not that limited and not that low
When is limited actually limited ??
Who owns the No. 1s ??

Duncan,
I've got several Limited Edition sets, of which my "lowest" is the R2 HMV Limited Edition of "The Untouchables".
That was number #52 / 10000!!!
Another pretty low one, was Anchor Bay's R1 Tin Edition of "Maniac" which was #935 / 5000.
As for who gets the Number 1's, normally these are kept by the company themselves, as far as I know. Occasionally though, the public can get hold of them, although it is usually via websites like E-Bay.
The reason being, is that the lower numbers generally are obtained/reserved by staff at these companies, who then auction them off for excessively high prices, knowing some people will pay anything to get them!
