Just been over to play and checked out there up dated new releases and there are some real good things coming out.

Gladiator and Final Destination both on the same day, and also my fav. film so far this year High Fidelity is due out real soon as well.

And its only a month until T2 comes out, which has to be one of my fav. films ever. The spooky thing is is that if all the films I have on order now arrive as they should T2 will be the 200th DVD I own.

Anyway what r u all most looking 4ward 2 ?

Does anybody know when Pitch Black is due out on R1 or even a UK cinema release as this looks to be one of this years big sleeper hits

Pitchblack is slated for an October/Nov release.

Ive also heard that Gladiator has slipped from Sept to possibly X-mas.

M:I2 is also out by end of year, and although its not the best film ever I would bet its def demo material.

I own the LD of the DTS Jurrasic Park and it is brilliant, much better than even DTS Private Ryan DVD ( imho )

never really bother with the extras anyway

It's not based on the cartoon, it's just in a d&d environment.

Check out www.filmforce.ign.com/dnd/ (http://www.filmforce.ign.com/dnd/) for details.

It would have been interesting if it had been based on the cartoon.

Robocop was a very early purchase for me and you will not be disapointed with it. Anyway cos of this and the Arnie post i think im about to order

Total Recall
Running Man
Commando
Predator
True Lies ( do I wait for a DTS version ? )
Cliffhanger
Red Heat
and Raw Deal

My girlfriends having a few days with a friend of hers and it looks like I could be doing the same for now

I have the R1 version of True Lies, it's a shame that the picture is not anamorphic but it's still a good transfer, the DD 5.1 soundtrack is brilliant and it's uncut too - go for it

I have been tempted to buy True Lies a couple of times now (a friend has it and it sounds great), but after Duncan mentioned a while ago how good the DTS version LD was I am holding out in hope of a DTS DVD.

I loved the recent Special Edition of Cliffhanger (one of the recent DVD's I DID manage to get) as it was the first Pal LD I ever watched about 7-8 years ago, it was awsome hearing it in DD.

I am quite tempted by a few of the Arnie movies(Total Recall and Predator espesh), but I know if I buy them a special edition will be announced a week later!!
