Just finished watch Fight Club on DVD. What do you guys/girls think of the film.
Top film in my opinion. And with a better twist than Sixth Sense. I saw that one coming a mile off. But not this. And remember... His name is Robert Poulson.
Best film I've seen since SE7EN, though LA Confidential came close.

Very clever film. About time I watch a decent film. Have to admit the sound effects made me jump. I had to low down the volume, many times. I am not a coward but film did make me feel a bit uncomfortable. What a rush.
Excellent film.
I really like the Director's (David Fincher) The Game and Seven so seeing Fight Club was a necessity -I went to the cinema to see it, which is becoming rarer. And I thought it was excellent.
Watching it on DVD was a slighlty different experience due to my knowledge of the ending, but it still rocked. http://www.homecinemachoice.com/ubb/smile.gif
Cracking DVD, too.

Totally different to what I thought it would be like.
But good.
It seems that no matter how much I try to put Brad Pitt down he constantly produces the goods. Ed Norton's pretty good too.
About time a film like that came out, makes a change from a predictable storyline.

Great film even better than Se7en. Edward Norton is without doubt the best actor of his generation. See the excellent American History X for further evidence. The extras are brilliant as well on the two disc special edition.
Yeah it was pretty good and close to mark about how crap it is to be a bloke these days.
Incidentally the test patterns "under" the THX button are nearly as good as the entire Video Essentials disc. If I'd bought this first (ie 2.5 years ago) I wouldn't have needed VE too much.

Agree with Guy not what I expected but a superb film. It managed to be both extremely amusing and even disturbing at times. Brave of the distributers to put negative reviews in the sleeve notes.
In view of the controversy the most surprising thing was that the film was made in the first place.
More power to the studio.
This is what DVD is all about.

Call me thick, but was this not the name of the character played by Meatloaf in this film ?, I might have missed something. I watched it last night, what a clever film. The surround effects were amazing.

Great film and great DVD package. Has everyone noticed that single frame shots with Tyler appear in several sceneseven before he has met him on the plane. The beauty of DVD is that you can catch these whereas in the Cinema I totally missed them. Subliminal cinema at its best.
