Theres a good preview/review of this disc on www.dvdweb.co.uk (http://www.dvdweb.co.uk) if that helps. From what i remeber the xttras are the same, the R2 is a two sided affair whereas the R1 has pan and scan and widescreen on the same side.

Thanks. Wondering more though whether to forgo the second disc for DTS (not on the R2) will check link though.

had rumours of MiB being cut for it's UK cinematic release. No mention of that on dvd-web.

Just to confirm that the cinema print of MiB was censored, rather than cut:

MiB in the UK has two audio changes. The word "Pr**k" is replaced by the word "Jerk". It is clear its dubbed, a minor point. Remember though that this was classified before there were changes to the guidelines so "Pr**k" may get through a PG now.
Personally I am going for the R1 DTS. After comparing Jaws DD to Jaws DTS I believe that the MiB disc will have the same level of quality improvement. Saying that I'm also buying the LE for the extra disc!
I'm doing the same as you, Neil.
I'm hoping to sell the DD single disc at a discount (in a DTS box, of course !)

P.S. Stuff the extra disc I'm gonna go for the DTS version. Never watch those things more than once anyway.

I will also buy the R1 DTS version.
It is great that there is a choice available, but couldn't the standard release have both DD and DTS on the same disc like some of the other DTS titles (Twister, Bone Collector) ?
