Panasonic DVD RAM and LG 4120B DVD writer

Hi there

I have a Panasonic DMRE55 DVD recorder. I burned a DVD -R DVD off it the other day. Tried to play it on my PC but realised that My Dell PC had a DVDwriter that is only compatible with DVD +R or RW discs. I then bought an LG GSA 4120b an all format DVD writer. Unfortunately it also does not see the DVD -R that have been recorded on my Panasonic PC. It wont even see the DVD -R's as DVD discs. Now I am sure someone must have come across this before?

Any help please

you need to finalise the disc for it to work in other players.
