I'd like peoples advice on the following. I wish to mount a light down my glass covered well (glass floor not yet fitted). The problem I have is that once the Glass Floor is fitted it would be permanent i.e. any maintanence of a bulb would be difficult.
I have attached a diagram to illustrate what I am trying to do.
I have had two suggestions from lighting companies.
Option 1 - Install a submersible StudUplighter which has an LED light with up to 100,000hrs life expectancy (approx 22yrs with 12hours a day usage).

This is priced at £170 + VAT
Option 2 - Install a fibre optic which has the optic projector mounted oustide the well so that bulbs can be changed (approx 2000hrs life) with the fibre running through the wall into the well. With this option the fibre would be permanently in situ but I could change bulbs, maintain the equipment if housed in a box outside the well.

Option 3 - Custom make a fiiting. I'm considering a flexible tube down which I can drop a standard twin and earth cable on the end of which I'll fit an LED or Halogen fitting from a common DIY store. Whilst this option may be considerably cheaper, I'm concerned it won't provide the same effect.
I'd appreciate your comments on this.
