Couple to choose from

Looking to buy a new Tv, i have been told to buy a 100hz set over a 50hz set anyways i have found a couple at a very decent price:

Samsung, Jvc or a Sony are what i have to chosse from, can provide model numbers if needed these are all 28" sets

also a phillips possibly, personally i would have thought the samsung would be a good idea or alternatively have no experience with the others really

Why ? If your not suseptable to 50hz flicker i would tend to consider staying with one of these sets. Do you watch much football ?
